We always stop by Valley Hardware when we visit Solvang, because they have a great selection of tons of things. We usually go home with plants, and this time we bought a new kitchen timer. They have a great selection of BBQ tools, parts, and even sauces! Lots of exotic plants, patio furniture, and even baking supplies and gift items. We have also bought birdfeeder parts & food in the past.  I really wish this Hardware store was by us in San Diego, but it’s OK because we know we can visit it whenever we are in the area.

This is one of the best stores in town, every local is here weekly for practically anything.  From household cleaning supplies, garden supplies, hardware items, etc to decorative items, frames, candles, picnic supplies, and large scale things like patio swings, benches, and fire pits.  Seasonally, they have great things – especially the Christmas items. Locals go early to buy the Christmas Village collections. They have table upon table of Christmas goodies and a nice train table display with an animated town. Taking the kids for a stroll is a fun activity to get into the spirit!  The staff are wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable. They give balloons to kids, know what they’re doing and are happy.  A great place to walk around, inside and out, and a useful place for whatever you need. What would we do without Valley Hardware?…
